Escape the room

No doubt that you’ve heard of an escape room. When we talk about this term, two situations occur. The first is that of a series of video games that, in most cases, are created with Adobe Flash. Their goal is to free themselves from a room where they are locked, finding hidden objects or interacting with the environment through solving riddles.

From the initial videogame it then moved on to reality. According to the most accredited versions, the escape room as a live game was born from the idea of a Japanese student who, was sitting at his desk and saw a partner playing with the videogame mentioned above.

Apparently it was a brilliant idea, since the escape rooms are spread all over the world. Italy is no exception! An example is Milan, where you can find the largest escape rooms in Italy. Who appreciates the video game will surely be satisfied with the experience in real life.

Every day we are subjected to numerous challenges. It happens when we have to make decisions, but also when we have to face prejudices against a person we are working with. Thanks to the escape room, a game characterized by a specific objective and the need to reach it, it is possible to test oneself considering these and numerous other points of view.

It is no coincidence that the game is often called into question when it comes to corporate team building, a context in which gamification is essential.

No doubt about it: in the case of the escape room, we are witnessing a success that started from an idea like many others. Unlike many other situations, the videogame came first and then the reality, a game that became a business and a reference for those who want to have fun!
